The Harris Policy Innovation Challenge is a student competition to identify new approaches to tackle these longstanding pension issues.

The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy today officially welcomes the Class of 2025 to the school’s community of future policy leaders after an inspiring Orientation Week.

"During the pandemic, I saw how many systems seemed to be failing people all at once, which is why I want to understand how to build systems that support people and respond to their needs—while also respecting their autonomy."

“I had always wanted to be in a role of giving policy advice and here I was talking to some very influential people…about a topic where I thought I had some expertise and a lot of interest and passion.”

Lesley Turner joined the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy as an associate professor on July 1.
