A new, state-of-the-art facility opening during the 2018-2019 academic year will position Harris Public Policy as a top destination for policy research, education, and collaboration, drawing the next generation of fearless thinkers who believe in the power of evidence-based research to transform our world.
The school’s new home is an imaginative redesign of an existing UChicago building just two blocks from Harris' existing building. An emphasis on light-filled, open spaces that visually connect inside activity to the outside world mirrors Harris' emergent culture of confident leadership, intellectual curiosity, and global engagement. The completed facility will be a significant expansion, permitting substantial growth in student enrollment and faculty, including postdoctoral students, fellows, and visiting speakers.
