Course # 32410 Section Number 1D01 Day(s) F Time(s) 3:00pm-4:20pm Term Winter 2026 Instructor Staff Course Section Advanced Microeconomics for Public Policy II - 32410/1 It is highly recommended that all students have completed PPHA 32310 Advanced Microeconomics for Public Policy I prior to enrolling. This class builds on some of the concepts learned in Adv Micro I to study at a deeper level a variety of topics relevant to students of public policy. The class will build foundations for understanding risk, uncertainty, and market failures in the provision of public goods, externalities, and due to information asymmetries. Throughout the course, examples of how policy makers grapple with the theoretical issues will be discussed. Must be a Harris masters student to enroll. No exceptions for non-Harris students, even by consent.
