If you are an admitted student, you may still have a few questions about financial aid and student loans. Please see below for information that you may find helpful as you are finalizing your financial plans:
- US students can still complete the FAFSA if they have not already. Be sure to include school code 001774 on your 2021-22 FAFSA.
- Students can expect to receive their financial aid packages from UChicago Grad Financial Aid beginning mid-May.
- You can read more about the type of funding available on the UChicago Grad Website. This page also includes a webinar, “Understanding Graduate Financial Aid.”
- The process for taking out graduate loans differs from the process of taking out undergraduate loans. You can read more about graduate loans on the UChicago Grad website.
- Information on the cost of attendance can be found on the UChicago Office of the University Bursar’s website. Please note, students enrolled in the full-time degree programs largely take three courses per quarter, three quarters per academic year.
- If you were awarded a scholarship, you should be able to view the details on your my.uchicago.edu account. Please note that the aid year to view is 2021.
- You can find detailed information for students in the Graduate Financial Aid Handbook.
- Many common questions about financial aid are answered in this Financial Aid Webinar recording.
