We sat down with Shilin Liu, Executive Director of Partnerships & Credential Programs, to answer questions and share tips on how you can maximize a Credential Program’s impact on your academic and professional advancement. Why should I choose a Credential Program at UChicago Harris? As one of the leading academic institutions that has cultivated generations of leaders with our rigorous research and training, we know the impact education has on our students’ personal and professional development. However, it is only through direct experience that our students can really tell if their chosen program, field, or profession fits their needs. This is the “why” behind every Credential Program at UChicago Harris—through these programs, you can experience the training and network the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy offers to unlock your potential with the guidance of faculty, staff, alumni, and current students. Our Credential Programs integrate theory with applied practice, creating space for dialogues and meaningful connections. Our faculty and staff will provide you the support you need to enable pathways to success. How can I know which program is a good fit for me? For 2024, we offer seven Credential Programs with various modalities and focus areas. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced learner, you will find the program that fits your needs.
