September 21, 2017 Emma Richardson This fall, the University of Chicago will be commemorating of one of its most historically significant contributions - the world's first sustained nuclear reaction, on December 2nd, 1942. The 75th anniversary of the event will be recognized with a series of events leading up to December 2nd, 2017. Distinguished Service Professor Roberts Rosner (Department of Astronomy & astrophysics and Physics) delivered an address to the College students in the annual Aims of Education address.
