You’ve Submitted Your Application: Now What?

 You’ve submitted your application!  You’ve taken the next step in your academic and career journey, and you’re ahead of the curve by submitting early. Reading and learning more about you is one of our favorite parts of the application process.  

After you submitted your application you probably took a deep breath—or maybe let out a breath you’d been holding in—and you may think all there is left to do is wait for decisions to be released in late February. But wait! There are a few things we think you should consider between now and decision release:

• Connect with a current student. Complete this form and we’ll connect you to a current student.  
• Visit our beautiful campus with its iconic gothic architecture.
• Prepare for your graduate studies with a Harris Credential Program—a part-time, virtual program you can take before you begin your graduate coursework. It is an opportunity to strengthen your academic readiness and begin building your UChicago networks!
• Check out some of our faculty reading recommendations in this blog post. 
• Get to know our student community—check out our website for new student profiles each week. (Spoiler alert: Harris students are pretty amazing). 
• Follow a university podcast:
