We are excited to meet admitted students online at our Virtual Admitted Student Week (Virtual ASW) from April 5-9. All sessions will be hosted in the online meeting platform Zoom. In preparation for Virtual ASW, we have a few helpful tips for Zoom.

All sessions will be hosted in the online meeting platform Zoom. A Zoom account is recommended but not required to join the sessions. In preparation for Virtual Admitted Student Day events, we have a few helpful tips for Zoom:

  1. Watch the tutorial. Watch this brief tutorial on how to join a Zoom meeting.
  2. Come prepared with your questions! In each session, we will take questions from admitted students via the chat feature. If you have specific questions about your personal situation, reach out to harrisadmissions@uchicago.edu or the recruitment team member you’ve been working with. 
  3. Mute your microphone. Please keep your microphone on mute. Our faculty and staff have rich information to share with all admitted students. Please be respectful and allow all students to hear the speakers. Students who disrupt the presentation by unmuting their microphones will be removed from the meeting.
  4. Recordings will be available. A recording will be provided if you are unable to attend the session or experience technical difficulties. Please allow 72 hours for us to upload the video after each session.
