Course # 61000 Section Number 2 Day(s) Th Time(s) 3:30pm-6:20pm Term Spring 2027 Course Instructor Alicia Menendez In this course, students work under faculty supervision to apply analytical and policy skills developed in the Harris Core and other courses to a policy challenge. Students will learn how to develop policy research questions, select appropriate analytical approaches, analyze and interpret real data, and develop evidence-based policy recommendations. Students will also gain experience communicating complex analyses, findings, and recommendations effectively to different audiences, both in writing and through presentations. Students will work in teams throughout the quarter. Policy topics will vary across sectors and contexts and may include topics such as violence in Ugandan schools and changing labor market dynamics in the United States.
