Course # 34600 Section Number 2 Day(s) Tu- Th Time(s) 2:00pm-3:20pm Term Spring 2026 Course Instructor Sheng-Hao Lo Specialization Data Analytics Syllabus Syllabus 2/25/25 Students must have completed PPHA 31102 Statistics for Data Analysis II or equivalent to enroll. The goal of the class is to familiarize students with principles and methods of program evaluation. The lectures will cover a mix of theory and applications; the problem sets will involve extensive data analysis and a fair bit of coding. The objective is for students to be able to evaluate program evaluation reports written by others and carry out basic program evaluations themselves. Notes Students must register separately for both a lecture (PPHA 34600) and a discussion (PPHA 34601). Attendance at discussion sessions is optional for this class. Course Prerequisite Students must take one of the following: PPHA 31102 or 31300 or 31302 or 42100.
