April & May

  • As soon as possible: File FAFSA for federal financial aid
  • April 15: Deposits due for early action, round one, and round two admits
  • May 1: Deadline to claim your UChicago email

June & July

  • Early June: Course waiver information released
  • June 7: Deadline to complete Math and Coding Self-Assessments
  • June 15-17: Orientation Kick-Off Meetings (virtual)
  • Mid-June: Math and Coding Camp registration opens
  • June 30: Deadline for federal financial aid
  • July 8: MARCM Degree Overview Session
  • July 20: Deadline to submit preferred name and pronouns
  • Late July: Degree Overview Session for MPP, MA, & MSCAPP 
  • Late July: Mid-Summer Orientation Meetings (virtual)
  • Late July: Access Dataquest, a coding platform for learning R (free for first-year students)
  • July 31: Deadline to submit your transcript

  • Early August: Harris Course Schedule Released
  • Early August: Receive your Academic Advisor assignment
  • Early August: Deadline to register for Math & Coding Camp
  • Early August: Receive your Polis cohort assignment
  • August 6: Start of the Academic English Pre-Matriculation Program
  • Mid-August: Access DiagKNOWstics, a virtual math review platform
  • August 17: Jumpstart Program Begins (invitation only)
  • August 26: CAPP camp begins (MSCAPP students only)
  • August 31: Math & Coding Camp begins
  • August 31: PhD Math Camp begins for PhD/MACRM students begins

  • Early September: Deadline to Register for all Core Course Waiver Exams
  • Early September: First Autumn quarter tuition bill produced
  • September 2-4: Pre-registration for Autumn courses 
  • September 4, 11, and 18: Core Course Waiver Exams
  • September 21: Required math exam for MPP, MA, MSCAPP
  • September 22-24: Orientation Welcome Week
  • September 28: Deadline to submit proof of immunizations
  • September 28: Start of Autumn quarter classes
  • October 2: Autumn quarter tuition bill due date
  • October 16: Deadline to confirm/waive University Student Health Insurance (U-SHIP)
