September 4 - 21, 2018 Overview Harris Math Camp is a three-week review course designed to ensure that incoming Master's students are proficient in algebra and calculus. The course prepares students for the mandatory math exam during Welcome Week. One core faculty member leads the course with the support of several teaching assistants. Additional orientation programming will also be offered during the program to ensure that participants have a smooth transition into Harris. Make sure you're prepared for the program and the math exams! Registration Student must register to participate in Math Camp by June 29, 2018. Registration for the program will open in May 2018. Students will need to take the algebra and calculus self-assessments to determine if they need to participate in the program. Schedule Course work occurs weekdays from September 4 through September 21, 2018. Each day includes a review of algebra principles, a review of calculus principles, and TA sessions and office hours in the afternoon. There will be a algebra pre-test on the first day of the course. If you pass the pre-test, you will be exempt from the algebra coursework during Math Camp. The algebra test will also determine your section of calculus.
