Professor William Howell and Associate Professor Wioletta Dziuda React to a More Sedate VP Debate

Harris Public Policy Professors William Howell and Wioletta Dziuda discussed via Facebook Live the more sedate October 7 vice presidential debate, which followed the chaotic, norm-shattering first presidential debate and President Trump's positive COVID-19 diagnosis. 

Topics discussed included candidates refusing to answer (or even engage with) a direct question, administering a free and fair election during a pandemic, and – naturally – the fly that landed on Vice President Pence's head.

Howell and Dziuda are co-hosts, with Professor Anthony Fowler, of Not Another Politics Podcast, and are affiliated with the Center for Effective Government at Harris. Howell and Fowler had previously discussed the first presidential debate on Facebook Live.
