Harris’ Marc Farinella Discusses Role of Racial Minorities in Future Elections 

Harris Public Policy Project on Political Reform and Center for Survey Methodology Executive Director Marc Farinella was featured in WalletHub discussing the impact of the country's shifting demographics on political groups. While agreeing that Republicans will have to make substantial efforts to gain more popularity, Farinella claims that not all the demographic changes will necessarily be in favor of the Democratic party. On the question of increasing representation, Farinella expanded on the need to reform the primary election process so that more centrist voters would participate. 

“There are a lot of good ideas out there. But what is thus far lacking is the will to make the changes that are so obviously needed,” said Farinella.
