Masterclass with Tom Coleman: Blockchain, Crypto, and Micro Strategy

Join us for engaging, real-time class sessions with other prospective students to experience the Harris classroom. This series has been designed specifically for prospective full-time, part-time, and credential students interested in better understanding the unique Harris experience.

In this Masterclass session, Senior Lecturer Thomas Coleman will discuss blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Strategy Inc.—the first major “digital asset treasury” company—and give an overview of bitcoin, ethereum, and stablecoins.

Coleman will also delve into what appeals to people about a decentralized digital database and whether it can truly revolutionize finance. Finally, he will discuss whether cryptocurrencies truly are currencies and, more broadly, what exactly money is.
