Harris Public Policy Professor Michael Greenstone has been featured in multiple news sources for his latest research which finds that expectant mothers living within a kilometer of fracking sites are at an elevated risk for delivering underweight babies. 

“Different communities are going to feel differently about this, if you’re in Fort Worth, where fracturing is occurring in a dense area, you’re probably going to feel differently about it than if you’re in rural North Dakota.”
