Learn how to guide health care organizations through policy issues and financial administration. In a unique program with the UChicago School of Social Service Administration's Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy (GPHAP), Harris students have the opportunity to earn either a Certificate in Health Administration and Policy or a Certificate in Health Administration and Policy with a Concentration in Global Health as part of their public policy degree from Harris. The program will train you to guide health care organizations through various economic, ethical, and social issues, as well as the financial demands of this complex field. And the program includes a pathway to a paid summer internship. Certificate in Health Administration and Policy The Certificate in Health Administration and Policy will provide you with a strong background in the process, politics, and economics of the U.S. health care system, with a focus on addressing complex problems through interdisciplinary approaches that incorporate medicine, social services, community, private markets, and government programs and regulatory policy. Global Health Certificate Program The global burden of disease poses a significant barrier to the well-being of people around the world.
