University of Chicago Crime Lab’s Sean Malinowski Discusses the Race for Chicago Police Superintendent

The University of Chicago Crime Lab’s  Director of Policing Innovation and Reform Sean Malinowski was featured in Chicago Sun-Time discussing the outcome for the finalists selected by the Chicago Police Board for the role of Chicago Police Superintendent. Considered earlier as a serious contender for the role himself, Malinowski offers advice on what would be the considerations for the Superintendent.

“This is an all-absorbing job. She’s (Mayor) got to get somebody who’s totally committed. Committed to collaboration. Committed to the officers. She’ll get that.” said Malinowski.
