"A more broadly focused and well-written standing order [for pharmacists to write prescriptions for Naloxone at any time] allows for innovation of creative methods and programs that have an immediate impact and increase the opportunity to save lives by reducing the number of overdoses due to opioids," Lott writes. Through his company Fiduscript, Lott created the Naloxone Exchange, which is the first legal, online marketplace for the drug. "We are positioning ourselves as the authority for procuring a drug that has many questions surrounding it," he says.
