Dean Katherine Baicker Discusses the Impact of Financial Loss on Life Expectancy

Harris Public Policy Dean Katherine Baicker was recently featured in an Associated Press report discussing the impact of big financial losses ("wealth shocks") on an individual's lifespan. 

"We don't yet know whether policies that aim to protect people's savings will have a direct effect on mortality or not," Baicker said. "But that's not the only reason to try to protect people's savings."
