Evidence-Based Approaches to Gun Violence

Gun violence threatens lives in our communities every day. It has a merciless effect on those in its path and though we know that gun violence has no color, it has strong implications on one’s economic status and access to equity. Join the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy for an important discussion on the intersection of activism, research, policy and enforcement in addressing gun violence in our nation's cities. Our esteemed panel will examine the collective impact of these factors, and how evidence-based approaches can prevent violence – and ultimately, save lives.
