Professor Chris Berry Discusses Interactive Financial Data for Governments

Harris Public Policy Professor and Faculty Director at the Center for Municipal Finance Christopher Berry was featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, discussing the effectiveness of governments' attempts at financial transparency.

"I think you've got a lot of work to even get the average person to want to come to the website [which offers data on Main Line township's budget]," Berry said. "This buzzword of transparency gets hold of people and they think it means just dump everything on the web."
