From the Wall Street Journal August 06, 2018 Bruce D. Meyer and James X. Sullivan Professor Bruce D. Meyer Harris Public Policy Professor Bruce D. Meyer and coauthor James X. Sullivan wrote an article in The Wall Street Journal, discussing the success of U.S. welfare programs – and why partisans on both sides of the aisle fail to admit the programs have been a success. The article was tweeted out by the White House: "Hardly anyone wants to admit America is beating poverty," Bruce Meyer and James Sullivan write.
