"Even if reduced transmission rates, coupled with testing and contact tracing policies, allow us to return to something resembling normal life, until there is a vaccine, we can expect intermittent flare-ups requiring renewed social distancing," wrote Bueno de Mesquita and his co-author Mehdi Shadmehr.
