Harris Public Policy Dean Katherine Baicker, a leading scholar in the economic analysis of health policy, testified today before a US Senate subcommittee today about the importance of Medicare and opportunities for reform. 

At 2:30 ET on February 2, 2022, the Subcommittee on Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Growth, a subcommittee of the United States Senate's Committee on Finance, held a hearing entitled, "The Hospital Insurance Trust Fund and the Future of Medicare Financing." Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is the chair and Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) is the ranking member.
