As an international student, he navigated an especially difficult job market. Since then, Luis has been involved in setting up two highly successful companies—HDFC Bank and IDFC Private Equity—before he pivoted to the nonprofit and social impact space. In 2018, Luis founded the Indian School of Public Policy, which focuses on the design and management of institutions and rules that govern society. Beyond this, Luis serves as Chairman for the Centre for Civil Society and CORO, Senior Advisor at Morgan Stanley, and Member of the Global Leadership Group for Booth.
