Project Manager, Behavioral Insights and Parenting Lab

About

Emily Rosen is the Project Manager for the Behavioral Insights and Parenting (BIP) Lab. In this role, she will manage all activities associated with the development and execution of a large, applied field research project at the BIP Lab.

Emily brings more than seven years of experience leading, designing, and conducting applied field research to advance equitable outcomes in education, child welfare, and family support systems. Before joining the BIP Lab, she led and supported mixed-methods research and technical assistance projects at Mathematica for federal and nonprofit clients. Her work spanned rigorous evidence reviews, large-scale quantitative studies, and capacity-building initiatives. Throughout her previous roles, she has translated research into practice by leading collaborative design processes and usability testing that engaged practitioners and end users. A former elementary school teacher with Teach For America, Emily draws on her classroom experience to inform research that bridges policy and practice to improve outcomes for children and families.

Emily holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Sustainability and Political Science from Arizona State University (ASU), and an honor’s certificate from ASU’s Barrett, the Honors College.
