Parker Professor of Finance and Economics, Stanford Graduate School of Business on "Banking and Financial Regulation: The Bankers' New Clothes." Author of "The Bankers' New Clothes: What's Wrong with Banking and What to Do about It," Professor Admati explains why the financial system remains much too fragile, distorted and dangerous, and why this situation is due to flawed policy and regulation. She outlines a path to reform, including simple steps that can be taken immediately, to improve the system within existing legal structures.
