About

Saliem Shehadeh is the Program Assistant for the Public Policy undergraduate program at The College of the University of Chicago and the Harris School of Public Policy. In this role, he supports the program’s operations by facilitating academic advising, coordinating event logistics, and managing communications.

Prior to this role, Saliem served as an Instructional Assistant for the same program, where he guided students through their senior capstone theses, policy implementation coursework, and research projects.

Saliem holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master’s in Anthropology from San Francisco State University, and dual B.A.s in Political Science and Middle East/South Asian Studies from the University of California, Davis.
