Janee Raffin

Janee Raffin joins as the Executive Assistant for Academic Leadership, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations for the Deputy Dean of Academic Programs and the Deputy Dean for Faculty Research. Her responsibilities include strategic communication, task prioritization, project coordination, and delivering comprehensive administrative support to advance the school’s mission of academic excellence.

With over 30 years of experience at the University of Chicago, Janee has built a career marked by adaptability and dedication. She began her professional journey in clinical operations, gaining firsthand experience in patient care and healthcare systems, before transitioning to administrative leadership a decade ago. Her tenure brings a wealth of institutional knowledge from the Biological Sciences Division and UChicago Medicine.

A native of Chicago's South Side, Janee now resides in Plymouth, Indiana. Outside of work, she enjoys bowling and gardening, reflecting her active and creative spirit.
