As the Associate Dean of Student Engagement & Belonging, she is a senior leader who forges key partnerships both within and outside the University to create impactful opportunities for students. For more than a decade, Dana has been a trusted trainer and consultant, delivering leadership-focused programs to students, faculty, staff, and even major corporations like Microsoft and Britannica. Her deep expertise in supporting graduate and professional students was honed at prestigious institutions, including Loyola University, Northwestern University, and the University of Chicago, where she most recently served as a Director at UChicagoGRAD. Dana’s academic foundation includes a bachelor’s degree in human resource management with concentrations in psychology and training & development, and a master’s degree in organizational leadership. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in the Education Policy and Organizational Leadership program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
