Associate Professor Damon Jones Discusses the Economy and High Inflation

Associate Professor Jones explains how recent events have caused these increases and what effects those changes in the economy might have.

"The other fear is that inflation is no longer the issue but now a recession is the issue," said Associate Professor Jones. "The labor market and job report continue to be reassuring and so we can hold on to that as a positive part, but this is just unprecedented times because of the pandemic, because of this war that's disrupted supplies of fuel, really there is just a lot of uncertainty."
