Family, friends, faculty and staff gathered on June 11 to honor this year's graduates

On June 11, family, friends and graduates of Chicago Harris gathered to celebrate the University's 527th Convocation and the Chicago Harris Diploma and Hooding Ceremony. After a welcome from Senior Associate Dean of Academic and Student AffairsJeremy Edwards, Jose Rafael Espinosa Restrepo, MPP'16, delivered the first student remarks in Harris' history. For the alumni remarks, Jennifer Tescher, MPP'96, shared her thoughts on how Harris prepared her for a successful career as president and CEO of the Center for Financial Services Innovation. Dean Daniel Diermeier then presented diplomas to all members of the Class of 2016, after which the crowd adjourned to a reception in Hutch Courtyard.

We congratulate this year's graduates on their hard work, and we look forward to seeing what they accomplish as alumni!
