Michael McKelligott

My research investigates how knowledge and innovation affects people and government decision-making. I am fascinated by nineteenth and early twentieth-century American history, so much of my work leverages data and institutional settings from this period. 

I also develop theoretically motivated (but intuitive and easy to use!) text classification tools.
