Social Entrepreneurship—Making A Difference Today

Please join  Ron Gibbs, President of National and International Public Affairs Consulting and Faculty Advisor for Social Entrepreneurship, for a discussion of social entrepreneurship opportunities at Harris.

Gibbs will be joined by Caleb Kao, MPP Class 2021 and Gabriela Saade, MPP Class 2021, who were on the LivingWaters team that won the University of Chicago Booth  Social New Venture Challenge (SNVC), sharing the $80,000 First Place Prize money with another Harris team, Impact Toolbox.

Teams from Harris participate each year in a series of social entrepreneurship programs which includes the Oxford Map The System Challenge, Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) as well as with SNVC and other programs. Students engage in these programs to bring about social change to make a difference locally, nationally and internationally. Join us to learn about these opportunities.
