Christina Xu

Christina Xu works as the Senior Associate Director of Employer Partnerships. She facilitates meaningful connections between employers, students, and alumni strengthening Harris' global network and fostering career growth for international students.  With a specialization in Greater China and international student engagement, Christina strategically designs and delivers career development programming for students including newsletters, career treks, workshops, coffee chats, and alumni panels. She manages all facets of the relationship development across the globe, securing opportunities for Harris students, while expanding and maintaining a robust employer portfolio. 

Prior to her current role, she held finance positions at the university, overseeing grant management, budget development, reporting, and acting as a key liaison among faculty, the finance team, and external partners.  Christina's earlier experience includes managing international product development for Barco Products, driving market analysis, sourcing strategies, and vendor relations.  

Christina holds an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the Capital University of Economics & Business.
