Professor Jens Ludwig Discusses Crime and Poverty in Chicago

Harris Public Policy Professor Jens Ludwig was featured in One Illinois discussing the impact of racial disparity and limited social mobility on the crime rate in Chicago.

“The progress we have been making is incredibly uneven across the city,” said Ludwig. “Poverty is an incredibly important driver for crime — and gun violence in particular.”
