Please join University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy alumni, current students, and staff for a panel event on December 11th discussing how alumni and friends of the University are making an impact in foundations and philanthropic organizations. We are pleased to welcome the following panelists:

 

  • Gillian Darlow, CEO, Polk Bros. Foundation. Polk Bros. Foundations is a private independent foundation working to make Chicago a place where all people have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

 

  • Dan Ash, MPP’94, Chief Marketing Officer, the Chicago Community Trust. Dan is directly responsible for overseeing and implementing civic engagement programming, content marketing, and public and government relations’ strategies that advance the Trust's mission to lead and inspire philanthropic efforts that measurably improve the quality of life and the prosperity of the Chicago region.

 

  • Sharon Marine, Vice President for Alumni Relations and Development, University of Chicago. Sharon leads the overall strategy, direction, and organization for development, alumni relations, and campaign planning. Marine advances the University's mission by encouraging the intellectual, social, professional, and philanthropic engagement of all members of the University community.
