Professor Jens Ludwig Discusses New Approaches to Policing in Chicago

Harris Public Policy Professor Jens Ludwig was featured in a story by the Chicago Sun-Times discussing research showing that new approaches to policing may be reducing violent crime. 

“Police are not reducing gun violence just by arresting more people and exacerbating the other criminal-justice problem we’re all talking about in Chicago, which is incarceration,” Ludwig said.
