This talk will feature a lecture by Rayid Ghani, director of the Center for Data Science and Public Policy (DSaPP), who is also a Senior Fellow at Harris School of Public Policy and Research Director at the Computational Institute, University of Chicago. DSaPP is a leader in applied data science for public policy and social problems. Their mission is to conduct research in data science and public policy, work on applied research projects with government and non-profit partners to solve high-impact social problems, and create scalable, data-driven systems for improving public health, education, public safety, and economic development.
