Tuition and Fees The tuition rate that master's students are charged each quarter depends on the number of credits for which they are enrolled. See tuition rates for Harris. You'll always pay the Harris tuition rate no matter which division your classes are in. The exception to this are joint degree students. The estimated cost of attendance can vary depending on your anticipated enrollment. It includes tuition, fees, insurance, and living expenses. This cost of attendance is for the purpose of packaging students for loans and for international student visa purposes, but your actual personal cost of living (outside of tuition and fees) may be different from this number. Tuition, health insurance and student life fees are charged to the students’ accounts by quarter. The University also charges a one-time transcript fee for entering students. Tuition bills are posted electronically to your student account and can be viewed on your student portal at My.UChicago. The Bursar's Office has information about when tuition bills will be posted and due each quarter. The student life fee is mandatory for all UChicago students. The Bursar's Office posts the current year's student services fee as well as a description of what it covers. Late Payment Fees are assessed by the Office of the Bursar when a balance due has not been paid.
