Harris Public Policy Professor William Howell was featured in an Associated Press (AP) segment, discussing how Attorney General William Barr's composed demeanor during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee belied his extreme defensiveness of President Donald Trump, whom Barr at times seemed to represent.

"The fact that these concerns are being articulated not just by Congressional Democrats, but by Mueller himself, underscores this deeper concern that Barr is doing the bidding of the President and not upholding the independence of the office of Attorney General."
