Assistant Professor Amir Jina Discusses the Economics of Climate Change

Harris Public Policy Assistant Professor Amir Jina was featured in CLTV's Politics Tonight, discussing the impacts of climate change as they relate to the individual and to the economy.

"The longer we wait, the greater the costs are going to become," said Jina. "And that's something that we just know now as a fact. This idea that there will be a turning point after twelve years and the world will cease to exist, that's almost too doom and gloom. And so what we need to be thinking of is more, 'What costs are we willing to accept? What level of damages are we willing to accept, knowing that that price tag is getting bigger each year that we wait?'"
