Harris Public Policy Assistant Director of Communications Billy Morgan was featured in The Vedette, discussing his April 2 referendum question which asks whether any fundamental restructuring of the Crete-Monee school district by the School Board must be put to a voter referendum in order to occur.

"The people [who signed the petition to place the referendum on the ballot] wanted to know that if the board came up with a plan to fundamentally restructure the district, the board would go to referendum to let the people vote," Morgan said. "Change doesn't happen from the top down; it bubbles up from the grassroots."
