Join Ron Gibbs, Program Director, Policy Entrepreneurship and Competitions, for a discussion of social entrepreneurship opportunities at Harris. Social Entrepreneurship combines commerce and social causes to bring about change. It is measured not merely by profit but for the social good and the shifting of public policy. Harris students participate each year in a series of social entrepreneurship competitions which include the Clinton Global Initiative University, the Oxford Map the System Challenge, and Booth SNVC. Over the last five years, Harris teams have won close to $200,000 in awards at SNVC, finalists at the Oxford Challenge and had 58 teams vetted to participate in the CGIU global annual conference. Hear from 2021 Harris SNVC finalist and second-place winner Jason Winik to learn more about his experience.
