Liz Corrigan
Liz Corrigan, AM'20

Elizabeth "Liz" Corrigan, AM'20, currently works for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the recovery division as a grants management specialist. She oversees a portfolio of disaster recovery grants which help communities get back on their feet after a disaster occurs. She is currently deployed through her position at FEMA to work on the national vaccination effort and the funeral assistance program which is available to families experiencing loss due to COVID-19. Liz has more than 7 years of emergency management experience. Prior to working for FEMA, she spent several years working for the American Red Cross managing disaster response programs and deploying to natural and man-made disasters across the country. Liz is still heavily involved in the Red Cross through her volunteer work and leads the logistics team for the local office. Outside of work she enjoys volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and is looking forward to welcoming her first child in July.

 

Anna Katter, AM'20
Anna Katter, AM'20

Anna Katter, AM'20, is an Associate Principal at Civic Consulting Alliance, where she has been since January of 2019. She primarily focuses on Civic Consulting Alliance's Safety and Justice platform where her clients include the Chicago Police Department, the Mayor's Office of Violence Reduction and the Mayor's Office Public Safety Team, the Office of Public Safety Administration, and Cook County criminal justice stakeholders such as the Cook County Office of the President and the Public Defender. Additionally, she supports efforts focused on whole school safety with Chicago Public Schools.  

Prior to joining Civic Consulting Alliance, Anna worked in the Office of the Illinois Secretary of Education where she advised state leaders on issues including early childhood education expansion, K-12 accountability, and post-secondary access and completion. She oversaw a number of statewide initiatives in the role, including implementation of Illinois' K-12 evidence-based funding formula, strategy for public higher education reform, and growth of work-based learning and apprenticeship opportunities statewide. Before her move to Chicago, she spent several years in Miami in both consulting and public education. She worked as the Manager of Consulting at Radical Partners where she helped social impact organizations grow and scale their operations. She also spent five years serving Miami-Dade County’s lowest performing schools as middle school teacher, high school literacy coach, and district curriculum specialist.

Anna earned her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Gender Studies from The University of Notre Dame and recently completed her Master of Arts in Public Policy through the Evening Masters Program at the Harris School of Public Policy. She is a former competitive figure skater and enjoys trying Chicago's many amazing restaurants.

Eric Reyes

Eric Reyes, AM'20, is a Data Strategist with the Department of Student Assessment in Chicago Public Schools and a 2014 UChicago graduate where he earned degrees in Economics and Public Policy. He finished the Evening Master Program in Public Policy from Harris in December 2020. Previously, he taught High School math for 5 years at the Noble Network of Charter Schools.  In his free time, he performs improv in Chicago with ComedySportz.
