Join the Institute of Politics, the Paulson Institute, and Harris Public Policy as we welcome political scientist and Harvard professor Graham Allison. As former Assistant Secretary of Defense to President Clinton, Mr. Allison earned the Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service for his role in reducing the Soviet Union’s nuclear arsenal. Since then, he has served as Director of Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, for which he is now a board member.

In light of his latest book, Destined for War: Can America and China Escape Thucydides’s Trap?, Mr. Allison will discuss the future of U.S.-China relations, examining the potential conflicts between the two
world powers.

Moderating the discussion will be Dr. Evan A. Feigenbaum, Vice Chairman of the Paulson Institute.

This event is free and open to the public.
