About the Speaker David Osborne Author, Reinventing America's Schools David Osborne is the author or co-author of six nonfiction books, including the new Reinventing America’s Schools: Creating a 21st Century School System, and the 1992 bestseller, Reinventing Government. Last February he also published his first novel, The Coming, a historical novel based on the life of explorer William Clark’s Nez Perce Son.
