About Wai-Sinn Chan

Wai-Sinn Chan works with Harris faculty and staff as well as prospective client partners to plan, develop, and implement Policy Labs, the signature experiential learning program at Harris Public Policy. She supports student teams by serving as a professional advisor in the classroom and also designs the professional skills development component of Policy Labs.

Wai-Sinn has project coaching experience with the UChicago’s Civic Leadership Academy and at UChicago Booth, which she brings to her student-facing role. Prior to joining the University, Wai-Sinn spent eight years with the Chicago Transit Authority, directing the implementation of projects to improve service reliability and customer communications, including Bus and Train Tracker. She has also held analyst and consulting positions in the private sector and in federal government.

Wai-Sinn received her MPP from Harris Public Policy and her MBA from Booth. She also has a BA in psychology from Yale University.
