By overseeing student organizations, advising student leaders, and coordinating events, she helps ensure that Harris students build meaningful connections, develop professionally, and contribute to a supportive campus culture. With a diverse background in student affairs, Lauren has held several roles in higher education. She most recently served as a Student Involvement Advisor at the University of Chicago’s Center for Leadership & Involvement, advising student organizations and leading programs to enhance student engagement. Previously, Lauren has worked in various capacities, including advising student leaders at Indiana University. Her expertise includes event coordination, financial management, and creating inclusive, student-centered environments. Lauren earned her Master of Science in Education with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Politics and Government with a Minor in African American Studies from Illinois State University, which has shaped her passion for student advocacy.
